In celebration of the 30th anniversary of G-Shock, Casio has collaborated with Margiela for a special limited edition watch - The Maison Martin Margiela x Casio G-Shock GA-300

Set to launch this coming Saturday, March 30th, through Margiela flagship stores and specialty boutiques.

I will try my luck in getting one for it is limited to only 3,000 pieces.

Muggs Are Shrinking!

My favorite Hasbro toyline is shrinking, from the regular size Mighty Muggs to Mini Muggs and now Micro Muggs?!

I have no problem with these new Micro Muggs but I'm hoping that Hasbro will still continue the regular sized ones.

Hasbro will soon be releasing two lines of Marvel Micro Muggs for 2013 - Iron Man &  The Avengers Assemble Animation Series.

1.75-inch Iron Man Micro Muggs comes individually blind-boxed and there are 24 unique figures to collect!

The 9 inch tall vinyl figure comes in 4 different versions, Normal, Silkscreen, Variant and the Silver Factory Edition. 

Both the Normal and Variant versions have an extra head [more like a mask] and a banana for accessories. 

The Factory edition has a camera and no accessory for the Silkscreen version.

Retails at around $98 USD each.

Ai Wei Wei By Charlie Co

Secret Fresh once again collaborates with artist Charlie Co to present Ai Wei Wei - A follow-up to Chinaman, his successfully released first art toy produced by Secret Fresh.
 
The bust was launched yesterday at the Art Fair Philippines 2013.

"COMRADE AI WEIWEI IN THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON"

 Ai Weiwei is a Chinese contemporary artist known for his political activitism. He has openly criticized the Chinese government and  its stance for human rights and has been apprehended and jailed in Beijing.

Charlie sees Ai Weiwei as icon for his radical thinking. In his painting, he depicts the Chinese artist as a brave and courageous individual. Ai Weiwei's hair is as fiery as his ideas. His bright red beard is like the fire that comes out of a Dragon's mouth.  His eyes are like white pearls against a black background, Charlie's interpretation that Ai Weiwei's views are only either black or white, and no grey areas.

Limited to 30 with 5 unique editions hand painted by the artist.
