Ace Hotel New York teamed up with Converse to create this special pair of Chuck Taylor All Star Bosey shoes with black waxed canvas uppers and navy outsoles. Inspired by shoes from the Converse archive, they feel like a sneaker, but have rugged boot detailing and design cues taken from vintage wading boots and shoes Converse created for US Military basic training in the 1940s. These are exclusive to Ace and are worn by their staff in New York City, Portland and Seattle.
The statement “You Are Here” is printed on the foot bed
a sentiment which also appears on the Ace NYC entrance rain mat.
