Winner of the British Panton Chair Competition
"This is our entry for Vitra's celebration of the Panton chair's 50th birthday. Designer Verner Panton spent many years designing a chair that could be moulded from a single piece of plastic, and made his dream a reality with Vitra in 1960. To celebrate 50 years of this classic design, Vitra sent us a chair to customise, with no restrictions.
In response, we decided to emphasise the outline of the iconic form by hollowing out the middle. We then drilled holes around the outer shell and threaded between them with fishing wire." - Jump Studio
