8065 Bagnet

After our Halloween costume hunting last friday, my friends Ino and Will brought me to this small eatery called 8065 Bagnet in Estrella Street, San Antonio Village, Makati.

It's an old house turned into a restaurant with a Cafe on the second floor. 

The place offers a variety of home-cooked meals and almost everything is Bagnet based. Bagnet is a famous Filipino-Ilocano delicacy also known as Chicharon [deep fried pork's skin and meat]

Everything that we ordered is really really good, especially the crispy Kare-Kare Bagnet. [Hello Cholesterol!!]

Yumemiya Japanese Cafe + Italian Tomato | Manila

It's my brother Ryan's birthday today and he decided to treat us for dinner. Looking for a new place to eat, we drove along Connecticut Street to check out [first time] NorthEast Square Building's restaurants and saw a Yumemiya Japanese Cafe - I didn’t know that we already have one here in Manila.

Entering the restaurant, my eyes went wide 'cause they also have Italian Tomato Desserts displayed near the counter. I love Italian Tomato desserts especially the bottled milk pudding that tastes like heaven, a must try for those who haven't tasted these milk puddings.

The Horse steak is actually good but I love my super tender Ostrich meat.

I love the original flavor [sweet and tangy with a bit of spicy kick]

I met the very friendly owners Abi and Bridget the first time I visited Sunrise Buckets [lucky me I got a lot of freebies].
