 The LaCie Blade Runner is more than just a beautifully designed hard drive – it's a creation by world famous designer Philippe Starck that represents the combination of human and machine. The LaCie Blade Runner's sharp, cage-like enclosure surrounds an almost anthropomorphic, liquid metal interior. This metaphor was inspired by a cyber future illustrated in the 1982 movie "Blade Runner," and begs the question – just how much control do we have over technology?

Philippe Starck and Emeco have teamed up again to create a new "green" chair - The new Broom Chair, made of 75% Reclaimed Polypropylene, 15% Reclaimed wood fiber and 10% glass fiber.

 Imagine”, says Philippe Starck, “a guy who takes a humble broom and starts to clean the workshop and with this dust he makes new magic”. That’s why we call it Broom chair. 

The chair is made from industrial waste plastic and reclaimed wood from lumber factories that would normally be swept into the trash.

I got myself a miniature version of Philippe Starck's Juicy Salif lemon squeezer.

The original Juicy Salif was designed by Philippe Starck in 1990 and is probably one of the most instantly recognizable pieces ever to come out of Alessi.

The Dr. Skud Flyswatter was designed by Philippe Starck in 1998  for ALESSI.

The Flyswatter is made of thermoplastic resin and features a pixelled perforation face and a Tripod-like legs.

Available in orange, green, grey, and blue.

Born in Paris in 1949, Starck is considered one of the most original and creative designers of our time. He has obtained many important acknowledgements, such as the Grand Prix National de la Création industrielle and the Honor Award of the American Institute of Architects.  No numerals and no case the wall clock only features two propeller/flipper style hands.
